Where does Service Pro work?

We serve homeowners in Tucson, Arizona. Share your address or ZIP code when you call so we can confirm availability for your location and project.

How do I request an appointment?

Call 520-370-0880 or email armani@serviceprotucson.com. Include your name, contact number, location, and a short description. An email request starts a conversation; your appointment is confirmed separately. Visit our scheduling page for booking options.

Can I call about an urgent problem?

Yes—call to discuss the situation and current availability. For smoke, fire, a suspected gas leak, or another immediate danger, move to a safe location and contact emergency services. Do not wait for a routine service appointment.

How much does service cost?

Pricing depends on the diagnosis, work required, equipment, materials, and access. Ask about any diagnostic fee and confirm the written scope and price before authorizing work. A symptom alone may not identify the repair.

Does Service Pro have a maintenance plan?

Each HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance plan includes two maintenance visits per year at $199 annually or $21.99 per month per plan.

Explore our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance plans for inspection, cleaning, testing, and member-benefit details. HVAC care includes measureQuick testing and a CPS indoor air-quality assessment. Confirm pricing, visit frequency, covered equipment, and any separate services in your written agreement.

All new HVAC, water heater, and electrical panel installations include a two-year Comfort Plan at no additional cost. Your installation agreement explains the covered equipment and maintenance.

What warranty is included with a repair or installation?

All plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs include a 2-year parts and labor warranty. All new HVAC installations include a 12-year parts and labor warranty plus a 6-year unit replacement warranty. New water heater and electrical panel installations include a 10-year parts and labor warranty. New water heaters also include a 5-year water heater replacement warranty, and new electrical panels include a 5-year panel replacement warranty.

All new HVAC, water heater, and electrical panel installations also come with a two-year Comfort Plan included at no additional cost. Review your written agreement for covered equipment, maintenance, and warranty terms. See our warranty coverage and included Comfort Plan.

Heating & air conditioning

When should I schedule HVAC maintenance?

Discuss pre-season attention for cooling and heating, with a scope that follows your equipment requirements. Ask about current scheduling before the busiest weather arrives. See HVAC maintenance in Tucson.

How often should I change my AC filter?

Inspect it monthly as a starting habit and follow the filter and equipment instructions. Replace a dirty filter sooner; the right interval varies with the filter and home. Read our filter-care guide.

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

Check the thermostat’s cooling mode and look for an accessible dirty filter or blocked indoor grilles. Persistent problems need diagnosis because similar symptoms can have different causes. See safe checks for an AC that is not cooling.

Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?

Compare the diagnosis, system condition, repair history, comfort goals, installed replacement scope, and written coverage. Age alone is not the full decision. Use our repair-versus-replacement guide to organize the comparison.

What does SEER2 mean?

SEER2 is a standardized seasonal cooling-efficiency rating. Higher ratings indicate higher tested seasonal efficiency, but do not promise a particular household energy bill. Learn how to compare SEER2 on an AC quote.

Can a heat pump heat and cool my home?

Yes. A heat pump can move heat into the home for heating and outside for cooling. The right configuration depends on the home and system design. Read our heat-pump and furnace comparison.

Why is one room hotter than the others?

Room conditions, airflow, and duct performance may all deserve attention. Record where and when the discomfort happens before assuming the main equipment needs replacement. See our uneven-temperature guide.

Will any smart thermostat work with my system?

Compatibility depends on the equipment, controls, and installation requirements. Have the exact system checked before buying a replacement, particularly if it uses communicating controls. Explore thermostat service and installation.

Plumbing

Does a higher water bill mean I have a leak?

Not necessarily. Compare the actual water use and billing dates, then account for changes such as irrigation, visitors, or a pool refill. Unexplained usage deserves investigation. Read our hidden-water-use guide.

What causes white buildup on Tucson plumbing fixtures?

Hardness minerals can leave deposits on fixtures and appliances. Start with your water conditions and the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Our Tucson hard-water guide links to local water-provider information.

Is a water filter the same thing as a softener?

No. A conventional softener removes hardness minerals; a filter’s function depends on its design and treatment claims. Identify the problem you want to address before choosing equipment. See hard water and treatment choices.

What should I check when water pressure seems low?

Note whether the issue affects one fixture, only hot water, or the whole house. Record recent repairs and whether it changes when other fixtures run. Do not adjust a regulator by guesswork. Read our low-pressure guide.

Does water around a heater mean the tank must be replaced?

The source needs to be identified. Water can come from a connection, component, or the tank, and that distinction affects the recommendation. Keep clear of hot or electrical components. See water-heater repair and replacement considerations.

Can I pour cooking grease down the drain with hot water?

Keep cooking grease, fats, and oils out of drains. Pima County provides disposal and recycling guidance to help protect pipes and the sewer system. Read what to keep out of your drains.

What information helps with a plumbing appointment?

Describe the affected fixtures, when the issue started, and whether hot water, cold water, or drainage is involved. Mention recent work and any drain products used. Share photos only if you can take them safely. Contact Service Pro to discuss service.

Electrical

Should I keep resetting a breaker that trips?

No. A recurring trip needs its cause assessed. Leave the affected circuit off and arrange qualified help; do not bypass the device or substitute a larger breaker. Read our repeated-breaker-trip guide.

Why will my GFCI outlet not reset?

Power may be unavailable, a fault may remain, or the device may be unable to provide protection. Follow the exact model’s instructions and have persistent problems assessed. See GFCI reset problems.

Are flickering lights a reason to call an electrician?

Persistent or unexplained flickering deserves attention. Record which lights are affected and any recent changes. Heat, burning smells, buzzing, or visible damage make the concern more urgent. Read our flickering-light guide.

Will a surge protector keep equipment running in an outage?

No. Surge protection and backup power address different needs. Plan for an outage separately, using current utility guidance. See Tucson surge protection and outage preparation.

Does a new appliance automatically require a panel upgrade?

No. The existing system, its condition, and the planned equipment need to be assessed. Ask what supports the proposed scope and whether other approaches fit the project. Read electrical-upgrade planning questions.

Which electrical warning signs need urgent attention?

Smoke, sparking, a strong burning smell, or water around electrical equipment are reasons to keep clear and seek urgent help. Move to a safe place and contact emergency services when there is immediate danger. Do not open equipment to investigate.

What should I tell you about an electrical problem?

Describe which outlets, lights, rooms, or equipment are affected; when the issue started; and any recent changes. You do not need to remove covers or touch wiring to gather information. Contact Service Pro about electrical service.
